Fell asleep on the couch and was awoken at 1am, someone knocking on my front door. Im freaking out. Our door light wasnt on so I couldnt see out, so I go to run upstairs so I can try to look at them from the window above the door. I trip up the stairs like 3 times. Once to the window, I still couldnt see who it was, so the person helped me out by announcing they were the police. I ran back down to open the door to find out if I was in trouble for something. Sir, you left your garage open. Theres been reports of thefts in the area and weve been patrolling to keep the area safe. You seem to have a lot of stuff in your garage you probably wouldnt want to have taken. Damn right. Wow. I rarely leave the garage open. I gotta say, Stow has been a great place to live so far, but this really goes above my expectations of the local police and the safety of the area. Even looking up crime reports shows 3 police reports for the area. All 3 were theft, and most likely theft by friends of the homeowners. Ive only had a few friends come to visit, so I feel pretty confident my friends wont rob me. haha.
