Fellow Occupiers and friends of the unhoused/ homeless. Thank You for making our Occupy Venice Caravan a great success last night. A Special Thank You To: Clark Davis, David King, Susan, June Pagan, Rob Dew, Cameron Linderman, Mariska, Stephanie Swengel, Jet P Lab, Deb Lashever, Maegan, Dan Wang, Occupy Sergee, Mark, Kevin, Cee Peace, Andrea Navaro, Vlad, Stephanie Trato, Borhrnagin, MyLing Miles, Niea Adnea, Diana, Cee Peace my daughter Valentina and any one that I may have missed for their donation of funds and/or time and cooking materials. Thanks to everybody involved we were able to feed: 200 plus servings of chicken and potato curry 200 servings of salad (Red Russian kale, purple cabbage, tomatoes, baby greens and fresh herbs with a garlic herb vinegrete dressing) 150 servings of freshly cooked beans with sauté garlic, onions, herbs and olive oil. Plenty of flour tortillas and steam rice 100 plus cups of hot coffee and tea We feed over 200 hundred people, in 3 different locations over a period of 3 hours (8-11 pm) and distributed plenty of clothing and blankets.
