Fellow audio nerds, I need your help: After over a decade of using ProTools and not learning any other DAWs, Im finally considering trying to actually learn Logic. Basically, Im fed-up with the whole RTAS/AAX crap, and now that Im doing more with hardware synths, the lack of modern MIDI implementation in PT is really getting on my nerves. So, how difficult is it for a ProTools guy to pick up Logic? Is Logic X Pro as great as everyone says it is? Will I be able to do editing and mixing/mastering in Logic without wanting to rip my hair out? Where should I start? Any advice would be awesome.
