Felt like doing a late night post. When a woman first meets a guy, she doesnt really meet that guy. She meets who she THINKS that guy is. Basically shes attracted to her own fantasy and perception about that guy. Women date themselves! Or saying it a different way: they date their own fantasies projected onto the object of their affection. But its not only women who do this: fellas we do it too! Every one of us has caught feelings at one time or another for some young lady who we thought the world of. Only to find out in retrospect we were bugging out of our minds! Check the same woman out 10 years later and youre blowing kisses up to God for stopping you from getting with the person. I always go back to this one truth about dating: we date who we are. Either we date someone who reflects our own insecurities: or we date someone who reflects our higher aspirations. Either way its different aspects of our own self that we connect with in another person. Just something to think about.
