Feng Shui from the Inside, Out? Day 2 By Victoria Pendragon Feng - TopicsExpress

Feng Shui from the Inside, Out? Day 2 By Victoria Pendragon Feng Shui, literally translated as Wind Water, is a poetic term for the energy of any environment, inside or out. The earth is alive with energy, an energy that is inescapable and exceedingly obvious in places where volcanic activity is active or where earthquakes happen frequently. Less obvious in places where nature’s dirt and rocks have been paved over or neatly re-framed into housing plots or farms, the earth’s energy is ever-present and equally unavoidable in the form of winds, waters and electro-magnetic flows both around and within the earth. These various flows are the most dramatic influencers of Feng Shui, hence its name. There are other energetic sources that affect earth Feng Shui as well. The sun, the moon and the stars are the most common of these and can dramatically affect both internal and external Feng Shui. Think for a moment about the ways in which a temperate sunny day affects people or how most people respond to a week of non-stop clouds and rain. Less visually obvious but every bit as profound in its effect are solar flares. We can’t see them with the naked eye, yet they wreak havoc with all of our electronic communication devices, generously adding to the frustration levels of helpless users, creating a compromise to the Feng Shui of the spaces in which those people reside or work. Have you ever been in a room where ‘the tension was so thick you could cut it with a knife’? That is external Feng Shui generated by people themselves and a good example of how we affect the spaces we inhabit. There are spaces between the cells of everything; nothing is truly solid. We may perceive things as solid because the cells are so densely packed together but everything is, essentially, plasma. That means that when someone emotes – sends an emotion out into the space that surrounds them – which we do unintentionally all the time, even if we never open our mouths – that emotion, that feeling vibration, is absorbed by the surrounding ‘things,’ and it adds to the hidden Feng Shui of the space. The point is, we matter. So much of Feng Shui – wind, water, sun, electromagnetic energy – is out of our hands – that merely rearranging the top of your bureau isn’t going to make a huge difference in your life but transforming yourself into the person who goes with the energetic flow, the person who is unaffected by the vagaries of GPS function in a solar storm or by being stuck in traffic for two hours will indeed transform your life, allowing you to become a very living example of good Feng Shui. Once that happens, what occurs on the top of your bureau may affect your life in unexpected and delightful ways. We’ll approach your spaces from an energetic standpoint, a bagua standpoint, (more on that later), a directional standpoint and a psychological standpoint, allowing you to be just as thorough as you want to be with the transformation of your external space. Information on internal and external Feng Shui will alternate and intertwine, just as it does in real life. Good Feng Shui starts at home, inside you. The changes you make in your space will support the changes you make inside but they can’t make them happen. Only you can do that. So each days offering will be concluded by a Sleep Magic assignment to help you on your way. All you need to do is read the assignment because your body remembers everything you have ever seen, heard, touched, tasted, smelled, read, felt and it will easily recall these respectful, humble requests, design to make its life, as well as yours, easier. Thank you dear body for all the work you did for me today. I am so grateful for breathing and for my blood circulating, for digesting food and casting off what we do not need. As I read this I allow myself to become aware of my breath, of how my muscles are feeling, if I feel limited anywhere in our body or if I feel any pain or discomfort. Now, I imagine myself getting into bed tonight, getting as comfortable as I can be, feeling myself beginning to relax, knowing that you, my wonderfully hard working body, will be processing this request for us as we sleep. I know that you would know if, at the time of our conception, our mother was under duress. If she was, and if we are still carrying the ramifications of that time within us, I give you permission to release it. You can fill the empty space its leaving creates by expanding the feeling of safety and security that I have when ___________________. Thank you for hearing me and for working with me in our behalf. I love you.
