Ferguson. Half the world is screaming for justice, when what they mean is retribution. Retribution for a perceived, but unproven, crime is not justice by any definition of the word. Officer Wilson has been unjustly convicted in the court of public opinion, by the same people crying for justice. And, blinded by their anger, and their frustration over valid but immaterial social injustices, the fools cannot see their own foolishness. How about justice for a man who has probably lost his career because he was forced to take life? Forced by someone because they (evidently) aspired to be a thug. Yes, its a shame he died, but that shame is on Michael Brown. I get it, I really do. When someone is killed in a senseless way like that, there is a reflexive desire to blame someone. To make someone pay for the tragic loss. But it really does look like the person responsible has paid, and paid dearly. Let him rest. Dont further dishonor his memory with all this rioting in the name of peace. I suspect that at the heart of that wanna-be thug there may have been a young man who would disapprove of all this violent nonsense.
