Few of us could be aware of the horrors of the Ebola crisis in West Africa without being deeply moved. The orphans of Ebola endure a particularly harrowing time where not only are they without their parents but no-one else they know can come near them to help. Their extended families won’t take them in as would be the norm in those communities because they are terrified of catching Ebola themselves. In order to do their bit to help, a courageous group of five to seven year olds are cycling from Glengorm to Dervaig in aid of Mary’s Meals and Medecins sans Frontieres, two charities working to improve conditions during this terrible outbreak. All money raised will be split 50/50 between these two inspiring charities. Please go to uk.virginmoneygiving/team/standrewsdaycycle to sponsor the kids, or keep an eye out for sponsor forms locally – not forgetting to fill out your details in order that we can claim Gift Aid. St Andrews Day Cycle for Ebola. Isle of Mull 30 November 2014 10.30am, Glengorm Thank you for your generosity St Andrew’s Day Cycle Team in aid of the Ebola victims.
