Fieldmarschall Albert Kesselring Luftwaffe Generalfeldmarschall - TopicsExpress

Fieldmarschall Albert Kesselring Luftwaffe Generalfeldmarschall Albert Kesselring was among the highest ranked Armed Forces commanders in the Third Reich, and one of the most highly decorated German soldiers of WW2. Kesselring had an extraordinary military career and proved himself a success in air power command and in field infantry and panzer command. The photograph and mat measures: 3.5 x 4.75 inches, and the interior photograph shows Kesselring in his Luftwaffe generals uniform with hand drawn title of Chief of Air Fleet One and Commander in Chief of the East (Der Chef der Luftflotte 1 und Befehlshaber Ost) above and Kesselring has signed his name below in black fountain pen ink. The photograph and mat were carefully laid down against another gold colored mat. This is when General Kesselring was in command of the German Air Force in the East, probably 1939-1940, and was likely a special gift to a HJ Youth group because of the elaborate title presentation.
