Fifteen years ago today Mistie Brooke Dixon was born. I still remember how fast the Nurses took her out of the room. From that point it gets fuzzy. All these people started coming in and talking to us. She was born with a right club foot, no ending to any of her toes, and later we would learn of the mental delays. I swear it was like they were running damage control at the hospital. Outlook for my Angel was unsure. God and Dora Holeman Dixon took control. Mom was not a bit shaken so I was not. We have been through a lot of ups and downs. delays and set backs, but here she is. She walks, runs, talks, and loves. Different? God yes, but are we not all a little different. Happy Birthday Baby girl.
