Fifth day of Five Day Challenge , only 8 hours late but I am the only one counting. :) No condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus. But I have some wonderful excuses. Had an obliterating blow out of that was more like shredding of a balloon ; left rear tire on Loop 820 near Azle Avenue in West Fort Worth. The tire looked like I was traveling on balloons. When I saw the tire this morning it appeared that Freddy Krueger had sliced the entire tire. Being night blind I was trying to hurry home before the Sun went down. I did not make it. I did not even look at the tire. I had been on the inside left lane and I had to merge to the far right Lane. Normally quite busy from traffic merging off Azle to LOOP 820. I was successful.Thank God. Pulled off to the far right; notified Lynda that I would be late on home front. Called my road service and then the on sault of Traffic. Darkness deepened.. Lynda God Bless her came. Made a decision too dark and too unleveled to change to the spare and asked for a tow. About an hour later. Tow Truck with Mario arrived. Deposited the pick up at the tire dealership 10 miles away and had dinner @ 10:30 pm that had been provided at noon from our next door neighbor - wonderful Mexican enchiladas. Made calls until my phone locked up on my one week new phone, I came home to see a new security light that was supposed to last 25 years had burned out. . Slept noisily. Recognized I had ran my wife to the couch for my horrific snoring. woke up at 5:00 am to get Lynda to work at 6:30 am . Tried to turn on TV for morning weather and traffic. Dead. Nada. Nothing. Had a delayed appointment for pre- cancer check up; no biopsy. Just air blasted every cm of nefarious activity : I cant wait until the next 4 month check . NOT. Life in a 24 hour view minus 12 hours. Went to choice on Sunday a real blast , highlight of my morning. seeing my mother and father in highlight of afternoon. Celebrated a Birthday and an anniversary on same day. Life in segments. Seriously I am thankful to God there is no luck in Heaven. Neither LG...........neither anything that has circuit boards such as Phillips, rotate to turn , on-off switches, 25 year warranties, Healing sprays of cryography, little strokes, little heart attacks, little discomfort, little sorrows, little tears, just a little murder, just a little crucifixion, just a little stick, just a little pain., little deaths littleluck. None of us here is looking for a little sympathy. I and I believe you are looking for that which is described in Revelation 21:1-4. That is why I am Thankful I challenge two young ladies from the East and the West Coast to undergo the Five Day Challenge of Thankfulness, Nancy Mako and Kathi Yeoman. Go Ladies. Have fun.
