On Tuesday at 11:12 a.m., deputies were dispatched to a reported fight involving several people on the16,000 block of Golf Road in Cobb. All of the involved people left the home prior to the deputies arriving, according to LCSO Public Information Officer Lt. Steve Brooks. It was reported that the victim, a 20-year-old man suffered significant injuries and was been taken to the hospital by a family member. LCSO also reported one of the two suspects was named Seth, who lived at the Pine Grove Resort. Deputies responded to the Pine Grove Resort and located the home of Seth Henry Lawrence, 36. The victim allegedly said Lawrence and another suspect, identified as Casey Ellis Snow, 33 arrived at his home in a vehicle and suspects stepped out of the vehicle. The victim allegedly noticed Snow was holding a handgun and said Snow rushed toward him while pointing the handgun at him while Lawrence followed behind. The victim allegedly said both Lawrence and Snow proceeded to punch and kick him repeatedly. Lawrence allegedly accused the victim of breaking into his residence and stealing a laptop computer, $300 and some smoking paraphernalia. The victim reportedly told deputies Snow struck him on the head several times with the butt of the handgun, which knocked him unconscious. He also allegedly told deputies Snow grabbed him by the throat, dragged him into his own house, demanding to look for the stolen property. The victim was treated for multiple contusions and lacerations to his face, head, hands and back. He also required several staples in his head for one of the lacerations. A deputy responded back to the Pine Grove Resort in an attempt to contact Lawrence again. As the deputy reportedly pulled in, he saw Lawrence driving toward him in a white pickup truck that turned onto a dirt road and drove onto Bottle Rock Road, heading westbound in an attempt to get away. The deputy said he temporarily lost sight of Lawrence, as he was allegedly driving at a high rate of speed. As the deputy was going around a corner he reportedly noticed Lawrence parked his truck behind a pile of dirt, attempting to hide. Lawrence was arrested on charges of burglary, battery with serious bodily injury, assault with a firearm on a person, exhibiting a firearm and being an accessory.
