Fight the good fight of faith.....1 Tim 6: 12......The word fight is from Greek word meaning agonize..St Paul sees d Xtain life as a fight, an intense struggle that requires persevering in loyalty to d Lord Jesus and contending wt adversaries of d gospel....Whether we realise it or not, we are in a warfare...The world is a battle ground, so we are enjoined to fight...God calls all of us as believers to stand firm in d faith and let nothing move us, in no matter what occupation God has placed us....As Xtains we are engaged in a spiritual conflict wt evil....This spiritual conflict is described as a warfare of faith....see 2 Cor 10: 4......It continues until we enter d life to come...see Gal 5:17.....It takes effort to climb a hill while descending requires no effort....Likewise doing good and walking in d light requires effort while engaging in evil nd walking in darknes often takes little or no effort.....We must be ready to contend wt forces of which many only aims at pulling us down, spiritualy,, physicaly and otherwise................................................Remain blessed.
