Fighting The Good Fight Of Faith! Everything God loves, hell hates. This includes your God-given dreams and goals. Your enemy, the devil will oppose you at every turn in an attempt to make you abort your dreams and goals. This is misunderstood by many. I used to be of the persuasion that if God ordained it, it would just go smooth, without any problem at all. There are multiplied millions of people that believe this lie and as a result they let go of the very thing they were created to do. The Bible says in Hosea 4:6, “My people are destroyed for a lack of knowledge.” Ignorance of this vital truth is costly. Your enemy will never stop opposing you as long as you are on this earth. You must simply learn to fight. You have been endued with power from On High. You activate that power through words of faith spoken from your mouth. When you speak forth the incorruptible seed of God’s Word in faith and stand fast refusing to be moved off of what you know to be true concerning you, you will see the hand of God begin to move on your behalf. He watches over His Word to perform it. “ And being fully persuaded that, what he had promised, he was able also to perform,” (Romans 4:21). Jesus is the High Priest of your confession. (Hebrews 3:1). Your words, spoken in faith are crucial in battle. You must become militant at protecting your focus. You must avoid distractions at all cost. Distractions cause delays. Delays cause disappointment. “Hope differed makes the heart sick,” (Proverbs 13:12). Please grasp this very important truth, “Faith moves the hand of God.” God is not moved by your needs or by your tears. If He were, you wouldn’t have any. Throughout all of the scriptures we see that God did exploits on behalf of His people when they released their faith. It is no different for you and I today. So let me encourage you today to fight the good fight of faith. Your future is worth the fight. Anything that is not worth fighting for is not worth having. If God has birthed within your heart His plan, His dream, His desire for your life, make up your mind that you will not settle for second best. “The Kingdom of Heaven suffers violence and the violent take it by force,” (Matthew 11:12). Fighting the good fight of faith is necessary to maintain Focus On The Future You desire! “But thou, O man of God, flee these things; and follow after righteousness, godliness, faith, love, patience, meekness. Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life, whereunto thou art also called, and hast professed a good profession before many witnesses. I give thee charge in the sight of God, who quickeneth all things, and before Christ Jesus, who before Pontius Pilate witnessed a good confession;” (1 Timothy 6:11-13). Be Encouraged! Be Blessed!
