Fighting a lack of gratitude this morning. I worked 15hrs straight yesterday, no break...300ft up in the blazing heat. I frikn deserve the day off today, right? No...I dont. 8 months ago I was begging for a job, food,...place to live. Its scary how quick your attitude can change. Its called, taking my will back. Instead of turning my life over to my higher power every morning, I decide I can drive the ship. Except when I drive, bad things happen. I drove the ship for 43yrs.....not much good came of it, until I surrendered. I am aware that my fuse is short right now, and I need to let it go. Its friday. I survived another week. I get a paycheck today. I get to see friends this weekend. Stuff I yearned for when I was out getting high. I feel something great is going to happen today. My mind is open, hands open, arms extended. I sit on the bus, with my bus stop gf, blessed and in high favor this morning. Im sharing some of my blessedness with her. Lol.
