Fighting an epidemic in countries or communities requires the following: knowing the reasons for the outbreak, how it is transmitted, and what are the needs of the infected and affected people. For Street of Sierra Leone, we do an in depth investigation or assessment as to what are the felt needs of people infected and affected by Ebola including those in quarantined houses. To meet to this standard, Street Child of Sierra Leone came in with two UK based journalists plus their Head of Communication, Advocacy and Mimi Projects Moses Kamara- also a seasoned investigative journalist to unearth and assess the Ebola situation in a place call Monkey Bush Waterloo.
