File this one under, Just keepin it real. I guess Im like most people on FB. I usually only post pics of me having fun and most of my posts are intended to be light-hearted or entertaining. During the Q & A portion of a recent presentation, someone asked me, Do you EVER have a bad day? I said, Im having one right now! It was a joke, but its true. I have bad hours, bad days, bad weeks and in the past long, long stretches of bad. Its true that, overall, Im in a good place right now, but Im still not without days when I dont even want to get out of bed. I try to switch back to gratitude, optimism and serenity as quickly as possible. But, just know that for every client that chooses me for a presentation, there are many others that went in another direction. For every glorious day on my bicycle, there are days when arthritis overwhelms me. For every night in a fabulous hotel, comes the occasional bout of crushing loneliness. Im not trying to share only good things to misrepresent my life, or even to just be considerate of all of you. If Im being honest, its mostly to keep from breathing life into the downsides so I can return to center as quickly as possible. Again, just taking a moment to keep it real. Now, back to cat pics! :-)
