Filipino nationalists who are good-looking and high on nativism and prehispanism are like Turkish nationalists who are Greek-looking yet high on Turanism. Their philosophy of an ideal Filipino lies on the color of the skin - brown complexion - thus justifies their philosophy of the brown race pride. Yet it is very comparable to the philosophy of an ideal Turk by the Turkish nationalists: white in skin complexion and slant eyes, like their Turkic cousins in Central Asia. Filipino nationalists always glorifies the prehispanic past of the country and some of them seek unification with Malaysia and Indonesia. Very comparable to what their Turkish counterparts seek: unification of all Turkic nations by anschluss stretching from Turkey to Kazakhstan. Filipino nationalists hates everything Spanish or anything in our country associated with Spain; while Turkish nationalists hates everything Greek or anything in their country associated with Greece. While the philosophy of nationalism in progressive countries lies on economic prosperity and its maintenance in the status quo, these two kinds of nationalists have something in common: nationalism in primordialist perspective. And these nationalists today still not getting over it yet. As of the status quo, Philippines is still sending OFWs abroad and economic growth is inconsistent while in Turkey, people got laid off in their jobs or unemployed risked crossing borders into either Greece or Bulgaria seeking for new life and new jobs. #PrimordialistNationalism_NotEvenOnce
