Film Review :: Finding Fanny :: Directed by Homi Adajania . Actors :: Dipika Padukone, Nasiruddin Shah, Pankaj Kapoor, Dimple Kapadia, Arjun Kapoor . The film is not regular masala bollywood film ...As the film starts with the unusual slow pace and the pace continues and slowly weaves the story ... the story of all character ... With a tinge of Comedy the film slowly unfolds the painful hidden lies of everyones life... and it unfolds the hidden truth about the lies of the each-individual in the Audience as well... and perhaps thats the reason every-one views the film Finding Fanny with their own lifes-perspective... The Audience will sure connect with the story and their secrets too ...and the film becomes every ones story ultimately ...I would give 5-stars to the Direction... Excellent detailing and the way of story telling... . The story revolves around five characters and is set in a village called Pocolim in Goa where life is slow and simple. Their needs are minimal and they live what I would call a retired life. A young widow Angie (Deepika Padukone) decides to help the old postman of the village Fredie (Naseeruddin Shah) to find his long lost love. He is depressed because its now, after 46 years he finds out that the love letter he wrote to the woman he loved actually never reached her... And Angie arranges the car of the whimsical-Artiste Pedro (Pankaj Kapoor) with the help of her past-love Savio... and the story begins ...A Journey of every ones life begins... I would give 4-stars to the story ... . At acting front everyone looks perfect... The actors has Acted more with the expressions and gestures because the dialogues are minimal and has a reason to be there and at the same-way the characters are there just for the purpose as if everyone has the purpose in their life ... and when the purpose ends, the life ends too... It shows you the purpose of death ... As 4-different characters dies in the film still you feel that the film was full-of-life... because that character was suppose to be ended there ...same as in real life of yours ... ....... # The journey of finding the Lost-Love is Interesting - Entertaining - The Truth Revealing ... and more over Finding Fanny is actually the every-ones story of Finding The Right Destiny ... . If you Love an off-beat film with great direction and the film with a cool message while laughing and realizing own painful truths about the life ... Please watch this movie. .
