Filmed in my garden today, I heard a commotion in the garden and luckily had my camera at the side of me so was straight there, pictures at first then put the video on. It spotted me and carried the bird to the back of the garden, I carried on filming though it was hard to watch. It was there for over half hour till a cat came in and the sparrowhawk flew away with the birds remains. It was hard to watch but knew I had to film it and take photos. I am very lucky as the other week a female sparrow hawk caught a dove in the garden and hit my living room window , it was only 3 feet away from me and let me take lots of picutres. I think they are going to be regulars as I feed the birds every day and always have a garden full of starlings. Lucky me.
