Final Update: ❤️Rest in Heavenly Peace❤️ I love you with all my heart my dear, sweet Carmen Girl!! Thank you God, for the 11years, 11 months and 15 days you blessed me with such a beautiful and wonderful friend. You gave me the strength to help you make it over the Rainbow Bridge with the help of Carmens gentle and kind-hearted veterinarian and sweet nurse. I am also thankful that you brought my rescue dog, Piper, into our lives. She really helped Carmen by being close to her, and she is helping me to heal the big chasm left in my broken heart. Lastly, dear God, I am so very thankful for all of my friends, family and even strangers who have read, understood and provided me with words of strength, comfort and love during this difficult and challenging time. I pray your blessing on each and every one of them. Hello friends. Thank you for being here on Facebook and helping me through this sad time. Today was Carmens last day here on Earth. She was having a lot of difficulty breathing and was so weak. It is something I dont ever want to see or experience again (the last 24 hours). I cried tears of sadness, pain, worry.....and also joy in knowing that my sweet Carmen went very peacefully. I fed her a nice hamburger with cheese inside. Even at the end, she was happy with her favorite thing.....Food!!☺️ The doctor did a wonderful job, talked me through what was happening and said that she would be completely asleep before the final step. He is such a gentle soul as was her nurse. They loved Carmen a whole lot too. So, it is goodbye for now Sweet Carmen. I pray that we will meet again when my time comes. In the meantime, please have a wonderful time playing with lots of old and new playmates in Heaven. Below are a couple of pictures from today. Please dont be too sad. Carmen has no more pain or stress anymore. She is free......my sweet girl is finally free.
