Final decision made this evening while on my run. I will not be applying for a position in the next round of hiring for The City of Scottsdale Police Dept. I have worked out hard since last spring and did meet my (as well as the academy) physical goals but mentally, I am not ready to go through the rigorous schooling and training. I learned a lot in the pre City of Scottsdale police academy last spring and liked it but now it is time to return my focus on what I have done for the past 17+ years with my businesses and volunteerism. Thanks for the support the past few months.
