Final night in Tulsa spent with legends.. Chuck Charles Blackwell, Jimmy Markham, John Hoff and Top Hat Joe Cervantez. What an amazing cherry on the weekend cake. For those who dont know, Blackwell and Markham were the center of what was to become the Tulsa Sound with Leon Russell, JJ Cale, and many more. These guys have played with Geroge Harrison, Joe Cocker, Eric Clapton, Delaney and Bonnie, Freddie King and an endless array of other rock icons. To see them in their sunset years still performing warms my heart and fills my soul with love and pride for this town I call home.
