Final results for the Regional Government elections were released on Saturday which showed the governing Civic Platform (PO) winning more seats but the opposition Law & Justice (PiS) winning a slightly bigger percentage of votes. We have to admit to still not being sure if these results take into account the votes in all three elections or just the votes for the Regional Government and local president/mayor or just one of those. What we do know is that nearly one in every five votes in the regional government elections was reported as spoiled or void and that should be of concern and will no doubt result in accusations that the vote was rigged.
