Final results to flow from 2pm The final results of each polling station will pour in from 2pm. Confirming this, Supervisor of Elections Mohammed Saneem said they had faced some technical problems in displaying the final tally and commencing from 2pm, the results will announced at the media centre at the National Gymnasium in Suva. He also indicated that the final tally and announcement should be completed by Sunday. “The deadline of 4-7 days sticks for now but most probably we should have the final result announced by Sunday.” The last provisional results announced at 1pm yesterday saw Prime Minister Voreqe Bainimarama’s FijiFirst party in the driving seat. Bainimarama extended his count to 167,224 on the candidate listing while the party extended theirs to 239,261 on the party listing at the completion of the counts in 1282 of the 2025 polling stations that were operational. Ro Teimumu was second in the candidate listing with 37,114 votes, Aiyaz Sayed-Khaiyum coming in third place with 12362, NFP leader Professor Biman Prasad fourth with 6931 and Vane Seruvakula of SODELPA in fifth place with 6897.
