Finally, a Tim Burton movie that does not star Johnny Depp or Helena Bonham Carter. of course, neither did Frankenweenie a couple years back, its nice to see him finally not cast them for once since the mid 90s. :P Oh yes, there was indeed a time where he didnt cast them often - late 80s and a few of his movies in the 90s (most notably NMBC), though he did like casting Michael Keaton a lot in the late 80s - first as Beetlejuice and then as Batman. Some directors do tend to have favorite actors for there movies and Tim is one of em - unfortunately, they often get criticized for it and we know Tim has for doing the same thing over and over and over again.
