Finally a doctor that researched Troy ahead if time. Both bone marrow doctors want him to have the liver transplant first and wait to see how he does. It would be very dangerous to do at the same time. Since he has no full blooded siblings he will need to be matched with the National donor list to find a match. He said getting a liver and bone marrow both to match him is like winning the Power Ball. The bone marrow would cure his disease and also probably even change his blood type. It would be a stem cell bone marrow transplant. If the risk is low then it would be up to Troy to decide, he would also probably need radiation and chemo to kill his bone marrow to better receive the new. It is a lot of infi, he is having blood work now so the can check the donor list to see if there is a match. It will be a long process.
