Finally back Friends and Facebook Family...Finally back and rested from my recent and most Gratifying trip back to the Commonwealth in the many ventures Ive made there over the last 3 years... I was BLESSED to see and spend time with my Father John Lee Bryant at his place of residence in Clarksville Ind. Our visit was so fruitful and enlightening at one point; my soon to be 91 year-old dad laughing said to me, George you have taken away all my aches and pains for today with your stories...LOL You cant get any better than that!!!! Next I went to Danville and saw my Mother Annette P. Bryant...Mom is stricken with Alzheimers and is quickly succumbing to its power...In fact the last 3 times I visited her She would never awaken or open her eyes...But this time she did!!!! This time she took my hand and opened her Beautiful Brown Eyes and looked directly into mine; as if to say George Vernon everything is Alright!!!! That day was a Good Day! Off to Georgetown: for Quality time with my Amazing Daughter Angela Caldwell and my grandchildren Laysha Bug, Alijah Givens, and Anthony Givens. For the first time I had the pleasure of having Easter Dinner with the A-Family and meet and share with my Extended Georgetown Family...Awesome! All of my Grandchildren took time during my visit and decided to share and have a Heart to Heart talk with Grandad(Me) about some issue in their young lives...I only hope that my response to them is of use and they continue to Trust and open up to me for the rest of their Lives!!!...How can it get any better than that? Saw and spent time with my blood Brothers; John and David Bryant! I had the ULTIMATE PLEASURE of being in the presence of my BROTHERS FROM ANOTHER MOTHER Gary Johnson and Garry Smalley...It is way past impossible to ever try to explain how close and how much these men mean to me. Most cant imagine the depth of our conversations nor the genuine LOVE, TRUST, and FAITH Ive learned thru them...We(both) expressed how we really longed to be closer in proximity to each other...then we had to Man Up emotionally an move on...LOL Next stop Harrodsburg went to check in on Aunt Tina Love Her!!!!Went and got Slick Gary Johnson then he and I proceeded to make the rounds...We saw many Family members and Friends, highlighted by visiting with Mrs. Ruby Meaux!!! My next door neighbor and the Mother of One of Our Most Awesome Friends Venus O. Meaux Jr.....R.I.P. Bubba...Gary and I spent time with 1976 HHS classmate Cindy Walker and had a inspirational and motivational conversation with teammate Danny Yates; who reminded us we are still and ALWAYS WILL BE PIONEERS! Saw and shared with Yeast Brothers(Rosa Stymie...lol Stevie, Bo and Nickie). Reconnected after 37 years with Jennifer Gabhart-Jacobi and met her husband Miles!!! Then in Real Time spent Real Time with Brah-Cousin John Short III...Short took me over to see his Church; it was the first time for me...My blessing is to be in Brah-Cousins world I was reminded by him that we are FOREVER connected and are an extension of each other...And there is a Purpose to Our Mission... Lexington next Wow!!! First ran into Life Long Friend, Teammate, and BROTHER HENRY PARKS!!!Hadnt seen Parks since 2012; what a great time we had and how glad I was to see him...Can you say Sticky yeah got a chance to see my Boi Ben Stokes and you talkn bout All Good!!!Benny shared some mighty good stuff with me and how GOD has taken hold on him and spared his Life...amazing Sticky love you man!... Mark Yates honored me with his presence and we chatted; reflected on yesterday but talked about the here and now...Then there is my man Daggie Scott Jones...Scott was nice enough to put up with me at his house...Thanks Bro...Love you man...What Scott doesnt know is how big of an inspiration he is in my life...He is there to always remind me that in this Life WE will suffer some kind of Pain...Your attitude toward this pain will determine how YOU will live the rest of YOUR life...Positive or Negative...Thank You Daggie!!!! Keep on Keepin on Bro Some of us tried to make a connection but could not...Do not fret! I will return...The mere fact that we tried and our disappointment that we couldnt see one another is in itself a sign of the LOVE we have for each other...It will happen soon...My Promise to ALL is I FOREVER WILL BE REACHING; WAY UP, WAY OUT, TRYING TO TOUCH EVERYBODY!!!!! PEACE FAMILY AND FRIENDS!!!
