Finally, be strong in the Lord and in His mighty power. Put on the full armor of God so that you can take your stand against the devils schemes. For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms (Ephesians 6:10-12). Gods armor is unlike any other garment we put on. We arent instructed to take off this armor when we get over heated or uncomfortable. Yet some times when our circumstances become overwhelming we do just that. We neglect to sit at the feet of Jesus and bask in the truth of His Word. We neglect to pour out our hearts to Him. Instead we busy ourselves in our own attempts to fill the void within us. And in our own futile attempt, the void becomes even greater. Do you agree? Let us strive to keep His full armor on at all times so that we will be protected and prepared for the battle on the home front.
