Finally common sense prevails. It just wasnt working out. It was quite obvious recently that the players werent playing for him and that the majority of the fans wanted him gone. Ive no doubt that Trevor Croly is an excellent coach and from listening to him at the AGM last year would make a wonderful head of football operations at a club but as a manager sadly no. The warning signs were there last season. The substitution debacle in the Bohs game and the capitulation and lack of everything in the cup semi final. Despite that it was probably the correct decision to give him a second season with new players. Despite a promising start the failings started to become sadly evident again and the last few weeks the argument for his time to be up at Rovers was too strong. As for who replaces him. I know who I and many others want but as long as the right man is brought in the majority will be happy. Interesting times ahead. Now Im off to give Arry Redknapp some stick :-).
