Finally got a call from the Dr about the MRI. I promised a few people that I would post an update BUT, not to be rude, if you dont have a Dr. in front of your name and on your office door, I dont want your medical opinion. Prayers and warm fuzzy thoughts are always appreciated. ;-) 1) Degenerative disc disease - already knew about it, back doesnt hurt, this DOES appear to be the culprit. Yes, my back is causing my hip pain. 2) Scoliosis of lower spine - knew about this too, basically just about everyone has it, not the problem. 3) Small dime-sized cyst in ball-joint of hip - chronic (meaning it appears to have been there for a long time), not inflamed/abnormal/infected, does NOT appear to be the problem. The words I remember hearing, in my sleep-deprived-stupor, were spine specialist, cyst specialist (if I want one because of family history), and spinal injection. No thank YOU!!!! Its my spine/discs? Fine. Dealt with that before and won - exercise, chiropractor and massage. Back to the gym tomorrow! I have three different bed options tonight - experimentation to figure out what works best until the pain subsides. Thank you and good night!
