Finally got around to watching my last two Amazon LoveFilm DVDs this week I cancelled and switched to Prime, just because I dont get time to watch the physical media any more. First up was Elysium. Good performance from Matt Damon I thought, and the film was visually stunning and very impressive design wise. However, the story was fairly dull, predictable and by the time the credits rolled I was almost relieved it was over Second was World War Z. Had heard mixed things about this, so was I went into it without expecting anything amazing. However, I was pleasantly surprised. I really enjoyed it. It was genuinely scary/jumpy, I found myself on the edge of my seat in some of the chase scenes and the special effects were impressive. A great twist story-wise too, even if it did have to have rather two many echo/flashback parts to remind the American viewers of important plot parts that may have been missed. I hear the book is very good, so that may be my next Audible purchase
