Finally got out to see some Fringe shows yesterday and was pretty blown away by my peers. First up was Myth of the Ostrich written by Matt Murray, directed by Steven Gallagher and featuring one of my favourite performers, Astrid Van Wieren. It was laugh out loud funny, touching, poignant, and highly entertaining. And sitting next to Thomas Alderson only heightened the experience. I recommend! Next up was an 11pm performance of Bakers Dozen written and performed by the brilliant Adam Francis Proulx, directed by Nicole Stamp, and produced by the Liza to my Babs and scene partner in crime in Hugh and I, Jennifer Walls. What an inventive, playful, smart show. Cant wait to catch more!
