Finally got the computer to allow me to post pics!!! Here are some shots of the puppies from this morning. They were fed and had just gotten their baths when we took these pictures. As I posted this morning, caring for so many of them at one time has gotten to be too much for us at the moment. Tommy and I both have medical issues that has reared its ugly heads and is causing us a great deal of problems right now. I reached out to Tammie for help and she was able to get one of our fellow rescue warriors to agree to take the babies for us until they are transported to their rescue group that will be placing them in their forever homes. Transport is still a couple of weeks away, and I do not feel I will be able to continue to care for them properly until then. Our friend KRISTEN will be taking them tomorrow. We are so blessed to have wonderful people in our lives to help. I will be taking the supplies that you all donated for the puppies care to Kristen, and will continue to help with other babies as I can, just not EIGHT at one time. As soon as we are able, Tommy and I need to look at building a place outside to house babies like these for the future needs. We will focus some future yard sales on raising the funds for the materials to build areas to help foster future babies. As I told Tammie, I feel like a failure for not being able to keep these babies til their transport is available, but I know I will not be able to continue to care for our PERMANENT babies if I get into trouble trying to take on more responsibilities than I can physically handle. Tammie is an angel, and has health issues of her own, but she just keeps on going. I love her and admire her so much for all that she does, while still working full time and being a wife, mother and grandmother. Folks like her and Kristen do not come along every day, and I thank God that he allowed our lives to meet. Kristen is also the lady who will be taking Roger, so I will likely take him along with the puppies when we meet tomorrow. We will be using some of the funds you all have donated to purchase a couple of play pens for Kristen to keep these pups in, and I will be supplying the dry food, wet food and puppy pads you all have sent. Without you all helping and Tammie and Kristen being so dedicated, babies like these would not survive. So give yourselves a big applause, for the donations and for the loving messages or encouragement and prayers that you send to help us in this mission. We will keep you updated on these babies and let you know as soon as new babies come to our home.
