Finally got to Ho Chi Minh City yesterday, and what an amazing place! We were chaperoned round the town last night by Lars Holden, Rick Williams mate, originally from Taihape. He has been a golf pro here for 12 years.Going to the markets this morning, then heading to the golf course, for a bash this afternoon. I have never seen so many people on motorbikes, real family sedans, Mum, Dad and two kids all aboard, amazing. Here for a week, then heading to Danong, then Hanoi. Well done to my son Jonty, winning his game in Dunedin yesterday, beating University in the final minutes, and scoring a try to boot, exciting stuff!
