Finally home from a nice little getaway with Mike . For all of you ladies ... And I mean all of you dating or looking for someone to date (no matter your age).... God has to be first! Find a man who isnt afraid to tell you he needs God in his life and strives to become the best Christian he can. Relationships with God in the drivers seat have such an amazing foundation to grow upon. Expect ups and except downs because no one is perfect.... This weekend I spent two days with Mike, hand in hand, loving our God. Mark, the lead singer from Casting Crowns, has an amazing gift of delivering the message. For me, having Mike by my side soaking up each word spoken with an open heart made me smile from the inside out. This morning we drove to Anderson and went to church where Mikes brother-in-law is the pastor. I am not Lutheran and was a bit nervous beforehand... We walked in the building and was greeted quickly by more than one member. The kindness given to us was awesome. This was my first time hearing John speak and I was blown away. The nervousness I had quickly left and I sat beside Mike as he happily whispered to me what to expect. After church John, Mike and I had lunch and caught up on everyones lives... Lots of laughter! My heart is overflowing today and this weekend was much needed!! God places people in our lives for a reason and I thank Him daily for giving me the chance to love Mike and his family.
