Finally home from the Barren County Invitational Band show. Came in third overall. Not bad all things considered. Had a great afternoon with Henry Jay and Cindy Lobb Damron . Thank you guys for supper. On the way home Annie made the comment "I LOVE it. All the other bands have 2 or 3 busses and have to cram everything onto the busses with the kids. Muhlenberg County rolls in with 5 busses, 2 semi trucks, a truck JUST for the color guard uniforms and flags, plus a fully loaded food wagon with enough food on board to feed us 2 meals. We look like an army showing up!". Pretty much sums it up. Muhlenberg County does arrive in style.
