Finally, its warm out--64* and we went out and got the Christmas lights out of the bushes and took the wreath off the wall. I raked the leaves out of the daffodils and should have some blooming soon. The front bushes have leaves from all over the neighborhood. They seem to like our bushes the best. We dont even have any trees, but everybody elses leaves. I Dug another trench to reposition the plastic border (it looks like beige bricks) around the front of the bushes and cleaned out the stones from my creeping phlox. Can hardly wait til they start to bloom. I try to put more in very year, but last year they didnt have any by the time I got to the True Value where I had bought them before. Will try again as soon as they open their flower section. Redded-up the garage and put my summer tires into the car to take to the Toyota garage tomorrow and replace the snow tires. Leo filled 4 large black garbage bags with leaves and sticks and with two garbage cans filled with trash, it finally looks like we have it conquered. BUT, thats only the front of the house. Still have the small garden out back of the kitchen and the rose garden along side the shed and Leos rock garden to red-up. Got a shower, my shoulders hurt like he** and we have to decide what to do for supper, Maybe Chinese.
