Finally made my own Cream of Something Soup...I cant take credit for the recipe but I will pass it along here! Casserole is in the oven but will let you know how it turned out! Better Cream of Something Soup 2 TB Wildtree Garlic Galore blend 2 TB Wildtree Absolutely Onion blend 1/2 small onion, diced 1/2 cup main ingredient, diced (mushroom, celery, onion, asparagus, cooked chicken) 1/4 cup Wildtree Natural Butter Flavored Grapeseed Oil 1/4 cup flour 1 cup milk 1 ½ teaspoons Wildtree Beef, Vegetable or Chicken Bouillon *Mix with ¾ cup water to prepare stock according to package directions) Saute onion and main ingredient (mushrooms, chicken, celery, etc.) and set aside. Using medium heat, pour grapeseed oil into pot, whisk in flour. Cook for about 2 minutes. Add milk and broth. Add seasonings and sauteed onion and main ingredient. Bring to a boil, reduce heat and simmer, stirring regularly, until it reaches desired consistency (about 10-15 minutes). Season to taste with salt and pepper or Rancher Steak Rub. Store in refrigerator or freeze in freezer bags. 1 can = 1.5 cups, so freeze this in 1.5 cup portions. Use in any recipe that calls for Cream of Something Soup!
