Finally millions of aliens, having lived here for years, done our hard thankless dirty work, will have a chance to live openly, pay taxes, get licenses, openly go to school, buy auto insurance, not fear the authorities, and yes pay a fine for being here without papers. Early immigrant Italians were often called WOPs (With Out Papers), because many of them came here on freighters, jumped ship and assimilated into society. All I can say is that if I lived just across the border looking over that imaginary line where life looked plentiful and my family had near to nothing to eat or survive on, I know that I would have found a way to crossed over also. There is no way to deport 5 to 10 million aliens, and if we did our economy would fall apart. Thank you Obama for a reasonable and fair solution to our undocumented works problem.
