Finally some good news. Baluchistan Assembly is the third legislature to prohibit private usury. The law is almost a replica of my law Prohibition of Punjab Private Money Lending Act passed in Punjab Assembly in June 2007 and replicated by KPK Assembly in July 2007 which made interest based private money lending punishable by 10 years imprisonment. I hope these laws are better implemented to target the predatory shark loaners in the private sector.
