Finally, the science of Shellshock/PTSD with this new study from the US. It is a bit gruesome - for that we are sorry if we upset anyone. A century after the first cases began to appear, scientists believe they have for the first time identified the signature brain injury that could explain why some soldiers go on to have their lives blighted by the condition. We experience every day families affected by PTSD, and we know there is a lot on social media relating to same, but we think the science is critical as a baseline to seek support from government.
