Finally, the wait is over! Dates for Delhi assembly elections have been announced. It’s the date weve been asking for, waiting for. Our volunteers have fought for this day, on ground and in court. This is the date Delhi looks forward to; the date India looks up to. Today, weve already scored two victories in Delhi: 1. They were forced to hold elections. All their dirty tricks failed. 2. Their Leadership is nervous. All attempts at writing us off have failed. Similarly in 1985, Ramkrishna Hegde had reversed the Lok Sabha verdict within a few months in the historic Karnataka Assembly. Aam Aadmi Party is all set to repeat history in Delhi on the 10th of February. I would like to recall Gandhi ji’s words in today’s context. First they ignore you: (Pre Dec 2013) Then they ridicule you: (Post Feb 2014) Then they fight you: (10th Jan, 2015) Then you WIN: (10th Feb, 2015) And what a wonderful coincidence! January 12 is the birth anniversary of Swami Vivekananda and a day to remember his inspiring slogan: Arise, awake and stop not till the goal is reached.
