Finally uploaded my application credentials and received word that I am officially an Active Member of the Horror Writers Association. I sold three poems, two reviews, a micro fiction piece, a flash fiction piece, and a short story at pro-rates for a grand total of 7,630 words. Many thanks to the fine editors and publishers who made this possible: Michael Bailey of Written Backwards, Tim Deal of Shroud Publishing, Janice Schofield Leach of DailyNightmare.Com, Michael Randolph of Eldritch Press, J. Scott Kunkle of Inner Sins, and Chris Robertson of the Demonic Visions 50 Horror Tales series. I obviously would not have achieved this without them. As an editor and small press publisher, its hard to make time to write—but my goal is to stop turning down invitations, since its pretty painful to let those opportunities go by. So for Christmas Im asking for longer days, and my New Years resolution is to finish my collection and novella. Well see.
