Finance Assistant Northern Suburbs, Western Cape Indaba Explorations (Pty) Ltd is an overland tour operator providing a one-stop solution in road transport and destination management on a business-to-business model to tour agents offering overland products in Southern & East Africa. We require a financial assistant to deliver bookkeeping services and assist with financial accounting processes up to trial balance level. You will report to the Finance Team Leader. Main outputs: · General bookkeeping and recording of financial transactions · Reconciliation to general ledger · Verified trial balance · Petty cash management · Financial data management Requirements · Three years tertiary qualification · 2 – 3 years relevant accounting experience · Proficiency in Pastel Partner and Excel · Knowledge of general accounting principles · Integrated understanding of the role & function of financial & management accounting in a business operation. · Dead-line driven · Analytical & interpretive skills Strong communication skills · Team player Starting date: No later than 1 August 2014 Closing date of applications: 31 May 2014 CVs to be submitted to finmanager@indabasa.
