Finance Manager – North Western Province, Zambia Our client is currently recruiting for the role of Finance Manager for a family of five new schools in the NW province of Zambia. The schools with have places for more than 3,000 students of all ages and provide more than 300 teaching support posts. The Finance Manager will report to the General Manager, based in Solwezi, and to the CEO of the group, who is based in the UK. As the senior financial controller within the group, the successful candidate will be responsible for preparing group budgets and financial statements, the implementation of financial policies and procedures, all cash and treasury functions, payroll, procurement and the management of other personnel within the finance team. Qualifications and Requirements • A Bachelor’s degree and a recognized accounting or finance qualification. • English Speaker with finance experience, preferably in an international context. • An understanding of the primary and secondary education market in one region. • A proven manager of staff and experience reporting at board level. • A flexibility and tenacity to get tasks completed in a timely manner. • A willingness and desire to spend a significant amount of the year in Zambia.
