Finding love at China’s ‘Blind Dating Festival’！ Ancient towns in #China have gradually been considered by locals as the ideal places to meet their dream lover. Fenghuang (means #Phoenix in Chinese) ancient town in central China’s Hunan Province, seems to have taken that idea to the next level, by holding a #BlindDating Festival. “Phoenix Nirvana, a new life after a love encounter!” This is the logo by the town that is holding its first blind dating #festival from August 22 to 24, and which has caused an online stir while drawing thousands. The Festival opened on Friday with a girl dancing in pink bellyband style dress (or Dudou in #Chinese, an underwear garment worn in ancient times by females) and performing with a red umbrella. Following that, over 200 young people presented a group dance to upbeat background music. A mega-sized version of the ALS #IceBucketChallenge has also been spotted at the Festival, with a helicopter pouring ice water over challengers. Read more: t.cn/RPBP1dS
