Finding the Answers Within The journey of awakening - TopicsExpress

Finding the Answers Within The journey of awakening spiritually is very much a journey of divine self-discovery. It is a journey of finding and looking at all the normally hidden and automatic aspects of our inner being. A daily practice of meditation and compassionate non-judgmental observation of our inner workings is an important discipline. We can make extraordinary progress with our own self-understanding and gain incredible insight, power, and freedom through this understanding since our inner workings manifest the outer circumstances in our world. Simply watching and observing our inner patterns with this new level of awareness will be a huge step in the right direction, but there may be many times where confusion and uncertainty come into play. It is quite common to have challenging thoughts or feelings arising within us that we may not understand where they are coming from or why there are there. Either way, it is an excellent idea to engage in typing or writing out our feelings and experiences to gain a new level of clarity. Writing out our thoughts and feelings into a daily diary is an excellent and highly recommended practice. So often, typing out what has happened in our lives, what we think, and how we feel can make things so much more clear than just having these thoughts and feelings inside of us. Seeing our inner thoughts and feelings laid out in words helps us to see ourselves from another perspective and brings a new light of awareness. Regularly writing into a diary can also develop our intuitive and channeling abilities. Channeling is the art of tuning into ideas and information from a place of Higher Consciousness, beyond the normal thinking mind. Tapping into this realm of awareness can bring entirely new insights and understanding into our lives that are incredibly beneficial. Since at the fundamental level, God is you and you are God, your Higher Mind is that of Infinite Intelligence. Like the Internet it is freely available to all and simply waiting to be accessed. As an approach, you can write into your diary the events of the day and your thoughts about them. If questions or confusion arises, clearly write out and ask your questions. Often, the answers may arrive through this simple process of writing and seeing the ideas written out. You may gain a new understanding about the cause and effect relationships in your world; such as through the Law of Attraction, events orchestrated by Spirit, Triggers, etc. For the deeper seemingly unanswered questions, you can try accessing the intuition of your Higher Mind. Type out your specific questions, and try one of two approaches: 1. Close your eyes and quiet your mind and allow the answer to appear without thinking or trying (this is one way that Higher Consciousness can answer). 2. Slowly begin writing out an answer to your question and see if you can allow Higher Spirit to take over the writing and finish the answer for you. For example, if your question was “Why did this event happen today?”, you could start writing the answer “It is possible that this even happened because…” and see if words continue to flow onto the page as you channel them from your Higher Mind. This may take practice at first, and you may have to discern if the answers are simply made up and coming from the thinking mind, or if the answers seem to have a special resonance of truth or feel right in your heart; if so, that will suggest that you are properly accessing more reliable answers from Higher Consciousness. Developing this intuitive channeling capability can be incredibly beneficial. It gives you access to the realm of Infinite Intelligence and can so often provide guidance, answers, and solutions that the thinking mind would not be able to figure out by itself. It is important to point out that frequent meditation is key to developing this ability, because the answers that come through the Higher Mind come from a place of quiet non-thought. Often, it is when we are not thinking and analyzing that the answer simply arrives, seemingly out of nowhere. This can happen more often when we quiet our mind within meditation and simply allow the answers to arrive intuitively without seeking or forcing it to happen. Meditation strengthens our connection to our Higher Intuitive channel, and lets us access it more quickly and more frequently in daily situations. When we are struggling to figure out a challenge or problem, and find that we are spending a lot of time thinking and analyzing without finding an acceptable answer, then it is time to give the thinking mind a break so that the answer has a chance to “pop into view” automatically from the realm of intuition. This can be done through meditation, or by simply taking a break from the thinking process itself. It can be a great plan to negotiate with our minds and say “Ok mind, I know we’ve been thinking and trying to solve this problem, and we’re obsessed with not giving up on it; let’s take a 30 minute break, then we’ll come back to look at it, Ok?” The mind can have a tendency to never give up, but sometimes it needs to give up temporarily so the answer can be downloaded from Higher Consciousness, instead of being derived from the thinking mind itself. It may only be able to give up for a short while if we can reassure it that it will have a chance to continue thinking about the problem later. With practice, you can develop greater degrees of discipline with your thinking mind, either within meditation, or within short breaks from the thinking mind, to access your Higher Intuition. Accessing this intuition can be an incredible source of creative ideas, including writing and academic solutions. Those who practice regularly quieting the mind will gain significant increases in intelligence, clarity, and functioning within all aspects of thinking, acting, and problem solving in life.
