Finished Book 2: Lover Eternal (Black Dagger Brotherhood) Really! Im just crazy about this character. Rhage is just to yummy for words and his girl Mary is so good for him, I adore them both. This character has such great moments that melt your heart that you can’t help but really care about Rhage. He hides his pain behind the joker persona but after all the smart ass comments and silly attitude all he really wants is to keep those he loves safe from his curse. Mary is a woman who has endure many heartaches and painful moments in her life. She meets this incredible looking man and does not completely believes in his feelings or her for that matter. JR Ward is so good at describing her character’s feelings and the complexities of relationships that you even forget that is a paranormal romance. Given half a chance and you find yourself invested in her characters and really unable to completely shake them after finishing the book. Is crazy how these character take life and go from book to book creating this awesome world that keeps expanding and evolving. My daughter and I always joke about what we would give to be Ward’s friend, which would probably get us kicked out of her town since we would annoy the hell out of her with our opinions and ideas. All we can really hope is that Ward still have many more books to come in this series because I don’t see myself getting tire of her boys anytime soon. On to the next!!!
