If you want to make one this size, the squares are 5 each, and you can do this with 14 fat quarters for the top, 1 yard for the backing, 1 yard for the ruffle, and any scrap fabric for the backs of the individual puffs, which are cut 4 square (you dont see them when its finished). I used one queensized pillow for the stuffing.
