Finished watching DD Directors cut, and there are a couple of things I noticed- 1. Easter eggs freaking everywhere. My lord, anyone with the slightest Daredevil knowledge will see a hundred Easter eggs. First of all, the name of the boxers that Fallon- played by Braking Bads uncle Hector- says are the names of DD writers, such as Miller, Mack and Bendez. The guy in the final is John Romita. The guy in the Morgue is named Kirby. The rapist scumbag is Quasada, which is oddly appropriate. 2. Battlin Jack Murdoch became Jack The Devil Murdoch wtf 3. Daredevil kills people in it. A bit too Punisher-e for me, but I guess these were the days before the BatCode of non-killing. Besides, he did spare Kingpin at the end to not be the bad guy. 4. Karen Page is played by Meredith Grey wtf 5. Collin Ferrell plays a quite psychopathic Bullseye, Abit too swag-yolo for me at times, but he gets the message through- do NOT mess with Lester. 6. Heard BatFlecks raspy, Batman voice- better than Bales. 7. The CGI, which was good for the time I suppose, feels like a cartoon now. 8. Garners Electra felt... Off. 9. Bullseye is seen getting paralyzed- and later getting better as he throws a needle through a fly. 10. Last but not the least, the character of Daredevil/Matt Murdoch... Was done surprisingly well. Why is this the movie everyone takes a poop on when they need to take a poop on something? Its actually pretty good.
